Background

Gregg Tushaus received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management information systems from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1986.

In 1993, Gregg founded Tushaus Computer Services, a comprehensive technology provider of network services, data center hosting, application development, and web design. Tushaus was selected as an Inc. 500 company, a VAR Business 500 company, and a FUTURE 50 company in 1996, 1997, and 1998 by the Council of Small Business Executives through the Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC). Tushaus Computer Services saw exceptional growth under Gregg’s leadership and grew to more than 140 employees with revenues exceeding $32 million by 2011.

In 1995, Gregg founded Advance Cabling Solutions and served as Cheif Executive Officer until selling the company in 1999. Advance was selected as a FUTURE 50 company in 1998 and 1999 by the Council of Small Business Executives through the Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC). Advance Cabling Solutions grew to more than 35 employees with revenues exceeding $2.5 million.

In 1998, Gregg was the first individual to be listed twice on the FUTURE 50 in the same year as president and chief executive officer of two separate companies.

In 2011, Dedicated Computing purchased Tushaus Computer Services. Gregg successfully continued on as Chief Information Officer until 2016. During that time, he was responsible for the company’s information technology infrastructure and service systems, managed services, and provided strategic technology leadership for key Dedicated Computing clients. 

In 2016, Gregg started as Chief Information Officer for Corporate Central Credit Union, providing technical leadership and innovation. Gregg leads efforts at Corporate Central Credit Union to pursue fintech ventures and to apply innovative technology in the finance and investing space for Credit Union members. At this time, Gregg also became president of Emergifi within Corporate Central Credit Union. Emergifi, a technology solutions company, focus on streamlining operations, reducing costs, enabling faster response, increasing productivity, and improving security for credit unions.  In this role, Gregg became a financial wellness advocate and a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC). Corporate Central Credit Union and Emergifi equip credit unions with technology leadership to enhance services such as cloud transformation, digital transformation, mobile, big data, identity management, block chain, and artificial intelligence.

Additionally, he also formed Innovation Point as a vehicle for software development pursuits.  Innovation Point is a platform for building, participating, investing, or buying a business in the computer technology space, preferably software.

Gregg is a long-time investor and has performed portfolio management since 1982. In 2015, Gregg founded Big Cedar Investment Advisors and began offering investment advisory services. He is a registered investment advisor representative and holds Series 65 registrations. Gregg has over 35 years of investment management experience. Gregg is a financial wellness advocate and a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC).
